Hinds Head
In Bray
Either:
Take the A3095 to Maidenhead. Eventually you will pass through Holyport (George on the green to your right). After leaving Holyport you will come across a big roundabout. Maidenhead straight over, motorway to the left. – Go straight over (Braywick Road).
Or (if by car):
Hop on the motorway (A329M) followed by the M4 to London. Come off at junction 8/9 and head for Maidenhead Central. You end up at the roundabout as above turning left into Braywick road.
Then:
You can see Stag next to Sawfords garage on the right. Keep in the right hand lane Turn back on yourself when able and head back towards the Stag. Turn left before you get to the Stag. Down this road and turn right at the end. The Hinds Head is on your left, the car park is on the right.
Also:
Take the A3095 to Maidenhead. Eventually you will get to Holyport. Turn right at the green pass the George on your left, then the Belgian arms on your right. Follow the road around to the left. At the end turn left at the mini roundabout. Then very quick right. Down this road, over the bridge. The Hinds head is on the right after the narrow bit, the Crown on your left, and the Fat Duck on the right. The car park is opposite.
Also by bicycle:
Leave Bracknell on the B3022. (Park road from the Met office roundabout) quick one in the Boot. Straight over the small roundabout. Straight over the big roundabout. Through the Tescos bit and on over the next roundabout. Turn right onto a small road connecting you with the Forest road. At the Forest road (B3034) turn right. Take the second left into Cricketers lane. Quick one in the Cricketers. On up to the B3022, and turn right. Up to Stirrups for another quick one. Over the crossroads. Right up the end of this road until you get to the Drift road. Turn left. Not too much further on turn right up to Fifield. Cross the B3024 into Fifield. Enjoy a quick half in the Fifield Inn. Carry on up to the main road (A308). Over this and down the road (no longer through for cars) to a bridge over the Cut (the same one you see all over the place in Bracknell –e.g. by the Three Legged and Stag and Hounds. Anyway BIG hump over the motorway and cycle down into Bray past Monkey Island. Now you are here you may as well have a quick one in the Crown as well.
Good Food. Usually an interesting range of beers. We like the Zambezi and Roukes Drift.
