Head down Park Road (B3022) from the Meteorological Office roundabout. Park Road is the single carriageway road that passes across the front of the Met office. The Boot is down here past the park (The Elms on the left) on the right hand side.
Bars with food lunchtime and first part of evening. Places to sit out the front. Enclosed Garden at the back. Pool table. Has had ups and downs. Looks to be on the way up at the moment. Some of the building is quite old. The carpets have been taken up recently, revealing a very nice wood floor
